How to use the sugar paste for best results?

Let the sugar paste come to room temperature.
Knead the sugar dough firmly until it is smooth and elastic.
Sprinkle the work surface with a little icing sugar (powder sugar) and roll out the sugar dough with a rolling pin to an even 2-3 mm thickness.
Turn the sugar dough over by a quarter to prevent it from sticking to the work surface.
Are small cracks still visible at the edges when the fondant is rolled out? Knead firmly again until the edges are smooth when rolled out.

The sugar paste is now ready to be used.

How do I use the sugar paste in a silicone bakingpan?

If you want to use your sugar paste in a silicone bakingpan to create an edible decoration, you will need to apply a little starch to the sugar paste:

You will need to apply a little cornstarch to the bakingpan.
Then press the sugar paste evenly into the mould so that it goes into all the gaps.
Then remove the excess sugar paste from the bakingpan with a cutting tool without cutting into the silicone.
Once this step is finished, take out the model without touching it with your fingers, to avoid deforming it.
You can use a small brush with soft bristles to remove the excess starch.
